Terms

Jimmy is free software under the MIT license. The license's full text ships with the code; these terms say the same thing in plain English.

Using Jimmy

You may use, copy, change and share Jimmy under the MIT license, as long as the copyright notice and license text stay with it. Run it only on a computer you are allowed to monitor. Jimmy records your screen and the speech near your mic, so tell the people around you that it is running, and follow the recording and privacy laws that apply where you are.

No warranty

Jimmy is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranties of any kind. Answers come from language models and from captured text, and can be wrong; check anything important. When you approve an action, Jimmy carries it out on your screen; you are responsible for the actions you approve.

Limits and changes

Jimmy may change, gain or lose features, or stop being developed at any time. Model providers set their own terms, quotas and prices, which apply to your keys and can change without notice.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of Jimmy.
